Each comment on the 12 hops throughout the year will be entered into a drawing for a $25 or Stampin' Up gift certificate (Winner's Choice).

Now on with the projects.

We had a choice between "Joseph's Coat" I don't know Joseph and am not sure what he has under his coat, and I am married, so I didn't really want to find out and Black Magic. Being that it's October and all... and scary and all... I decided to do the latter which really was the former in the original choices...

And so I started with this awesome background stamp. Becuase... I wanted it all to be in a lot of colors...

*** Note to you... Dear Reader.... *** Um... Some of the photos are upside-down in case you couldn't tell, thought I had to let you know and Blogger isn't letting me take them out and put them back in the right way... So sorry.
And this awesome opaque "cloud" white...
Inked it all up...
Stamped it out (in multiples, because I knew it wouldn't be perfect...)
Water-colored some of the whites in... I was going to to color all of the words in, then realized I didn't like coloring words in. I'd really much rather color in pictures and not words. They're kinda boring...
These colors didn't "pop" the way I thought they would...
I adhered it to a "popping" background...
Added some even more "poppin'" rick-rack...
Thought I'd add a touch of Wink of Stella glitter in some of the letters, because this just wasn't enough...
And called it a day! Hey!

Up next is Kim! I know I've done pretty much nothing next to the wonderfully talented Kim! So enjoy what she has to offer. She's FABULOUS! Today's lineup so you can get a little "Black Magic in ya!" (so you can be sure to visit everyone!):

  1. I loved the stamp set you used here. Whew, lots of coloring for you to do. Very ambitious project but the results are so worth the effort. Beautiful job. Always a pleasure hopping with you!

  2. Perfect stamp set for this technique. I didn't even think of using words. Great job Lisa and don't put yourself down girl, you did a lot. Coloring in the letters is not easy since they are so small and I love the result. Great card and great hopping with you :-)
