OMG! My friend Connie is.... (shhhh.... $&!!!!) and if you can't figure that out... look at the corresponding numbers on a "normal" computer keypad... and that's a good age, too! Because... that's what I'll be later this year! So... HAPPY BITHDAY, CONNIE!!!!
I made... a card... hmm... I really tried to use something else. I did a "gatefold" type. I'm not sure I did the "3-way" dies right... But, YOU can take a look for yourself and see...
I had a 1/2 sheet of cardstock, scored it at 2-1/8", then flipped it and repeated. Really flipped it because I didn't want to do the math. It worked out just fine... And I was starting with this die and this paper (my LAST bit of THAT paper... so I had to make it work...).
I ran it through a total of 4 times (2 on each flap side) and had to do that... because it didn't fully cut through (you'll see that later...).
Ummm... Spectrum Noire Glitter Pens go through TWO layers of cardstock.

Oh, wow! This card is beautiful! Love it! It's been fun hopping with you!
ReplyDeleteWould love if you shared a pic of the inside of this wonderful card, too!
ReplyDeleteYour card turned out great! I'm so guilty of 'learn as you go' type projects also LOL! Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't, but one thing that's certain is that you learn something either way!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your tips and card. It's very cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for the gate fold and it turned out beautifully.
ReplyDeleteLisa, your comments always make me smile. So funny. Great card too. Btw, I can't color within the lines either ;-)) Tfs and for being part of this happy bday hop. Good luck
ReplyDeleteHa ha nice secret code for the age! I love that you post your work even when you don't think it is the best. Maybe everyone is not perfect all the time. I have struggled with some dies also. They either cut through everything and like an inch into the board or don't cut through the paper, no in between.
ReplyDeletevery nice
ReplyDeletesuper cute
ReplyDeleteYour card is so elegant and beautiful, thanks for sharing this gatefold.
ReplyDeleteGreat card! Practice makes perfect!!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou have more patience than I!! That die is amazing but I am not sure I would have stuck with it! LOL! Thanks for pushing through! It turned out great!
ReplyDeleteOh and thanks for spilling the beans on my age! ROFL!! really!! LOL!
